Research Description
20th/21st Century American Literature and Culture with particular emphasis on how the shift from an industrial to a post-industrial society affects the aesthetic, social, and political imaginary of the US. Hailing from the Detroit area, I am invested in interrogating the various ways in which the presence of decay informs cultural production. Other related interests include urban political ecology and digital urbanism.
